What is the mini-site

Every shop on FrontDesk gets a public mini-site at getfrontdesk.app/site/your-slug. It shows your business name, description, services, working hours, and a booking button — all generated from the information you enter in the portal. No coding required.

You can also connect your own domain so the site is reachable at, for example, mybusiness.com. See Use a custom domain.

Opening the settings

In the portal sidebar, click Mini-site. All changes take effect the moment you click Save changes at the top of the page.

Theme

Choose one of four built-in themes that sets the overall colour palette of your site:

Industrial
Dark background with a bold orange accent. Great for auto shops and trades.
Soft Spa
Warm ivory tones with a rose accent. Ideal for wellness and beauty businesses.
Minimal
Clean white with a near-black accent. Works for any type of business.
Nature
Earthy neutrals with a forest-green accent. Great for holistic and outdoor brands.

You can also override just the primary colour by using the Primary colour override field in the Appearance section, without changing the rest of the theme.

Layout

Two layout options control how the top of the page looks:

  • Default — a coloured hero section using the theme's background colour, with your logo centred above the business name.
  • Hero image — a full-width photograph behind the business name and booking button. Upload a wide image (1600 × 900 px or wider) for best results.

Logo

Click the logo upload area to browse for a file, or drag one on to it. PNG, JPG, or WebP — max 2 MB. The logo appears in the site header and, on the Default layout, centred in the hero section.

Bio / description

The short paragraph that appears beneath your business name in the hero. Keep it to one or two sentences — something that tells a first-time visitor what you do and why they should book with you.

Custom sections

Below the built-in Hours section you can add any number of extra sections. Two types are available:

  • Text section — a rich-text block. Use it for an about page, a list of FAQs, pricing notes, or anything else written.
  • Image gallery — a grid of photos. Use it to showcase your work, your space, or your team.

Each section has an optional title. Sections can be reordered with the up/down arrows, and deleted with the X button.

Sharing your site

At the bottom of the Mini-site settings page, the Public links card shows two URLs:

  • Mini-site — the full informational page with your details, hours, and sections.
  • Booking page — a focused page where customers pick a service and time slot.

Use the Open button to preview either page, or copy the link to share it in your email signature, social media profiles, or Google Business listing.

Use your own domain

Want the site to live at yourbusiness.com instead of a FrontDesk URL? Follow the custom domain guide to point your domain to FrontDesk in a few minutes.
